We took the ferry from Lewes, Delaware to Cape May, New Jersey. As usual, Jack had many encounters. At the gift shop on the Delaware side, an employee was so taken by Jack that she presented him with an Italian flag pen to wear on his cape. During the ferry ride, a man sitting behind us assembled a pony puppet to get Jack's attention. (He had purchased the puppet for his five-year-old.) Jack was very  interested so there was a dog and pony show on the Cape May ferry that day.
